God wants us to experience the greatness of God. Like Abraham, he had the greatness of God, Genesis 12:1-3. But as Abraham tested, so there is a test for us to experience the greatness and glory of God.
One test of Abraham, so he experienced the greatness of God is to test the sensitivity of the voice of God
Abraham achieve greatness because he was a very sensitive to the voice of God. Let us look at Abraham which is sensitive to the voice of God.
Abraham immediately answered.
The word “then he said: …” As soon as he answered. So Abraham was not a long answer, he jumped at the call of God. In fact he says “it’s me” Abraham replied that indeed he was there. God … said unto him: “Abraham!” And he said: “behold, here i am” = I’m here, it’s me. That means when God called, Abraham was, he immediately answered, and most importantly he was always there dihadirat God.
Abraham recognized the voice of God.
Abraham recognized the voice of his wife, aides voice, and voices of people nearby. Abraham is very familiar with the voice of God so that when his name was called he immediately replied: “yes, Lord.” Abraham sensitive to the voice of God because there is intimacy with God. Obviously Abraham immediately recognized the voice of God then this indicates that Abraham get along with God. An intimate relationship is not established in a day. Even the sensitivity of his voice is God’s fellowship with God every moment. All of this was born from the relationship and intimate fellowship with God.
Sensitivity to the voice of God is important and should be.
This will determine the decisions we will take. This will affect our lives forward. Did you know God’s voice? What God calls us to do today? Are we listening to His voice? Do we want to obey the word? Our future will be determined by this truth.
God is calling us to experience intimacy with God.
As we are pleased with our loved ones. As parents enjoyed playing with his children. Similarly, moreover, God love us to build intimacy with God. He is calling us to build intimacy with Him. How He longs we fellowship with Him: “My son, I really loved you. I miss you. You are always in my heart. I always call you. How I miss you ally with me. ”
Build a relationship with God.
Intimacy with God is not built in a day or instantly. All of this requires a serious partnership and truly, prayer life, read his word every time, devotion without limit.
A person who is sensitive to the voice of God, will experience the greatness of God.
